Swaminathan Anantharaman is an Indian actor who predominately works in Tamil and Kannada TV serials. He is popularly known for portraying the role of Mithun in the Kannada drama serial Mithuna Raashi in 2019. Swaminathan has also worked in the Tamil serial Kaatrukkenna Veli in 2021. In 2022, he grabbed headlines for playing the main role of Vikramaditya in the Telugu serial Nuvvu Nenu Prema where he was cast opposite Pavithra B Naik.

Swaminathan Anantharaman is an actor working in Kannada and Tamil TV and movie industries. Swaminathan was born and brought up in Bangalore, Karnataka. Swaminathan’s native is Thanjavur, but his family settled in Bangalore. He went to BP Indian Public School, Bangalore, and graduated from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy (SASTRA) with a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering in Thanjavur. He worked in a private company before joining the entertainment industry. Swaminathan made his debut as an actor in the Kannada serial Mithuna Raashi on Colors Kannada. Vinod Dhondale directed the series that has Vaishnavi, Yadu Shreshtha, and Pooja Durganna alongside Swami.
In 2021, Swami made his Tamil debut with Kaatrukkenna Veli on Star Vijay. He shared the screen space with Priyanka Kumar and Malavika Avinash in Kaatrukkenna Veli. As his mother tongue is Tamil, he didn’t find it hard to do a role in the Tamil serial. In 2022, Swaminathan made his Telugu debut in Nuvvu Nenu Prema on Star Maa.
It is the remake of the Hindi serial Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. He shared the screen space with “Pavithra B Naik,” Madhubala Vijaykumar, Maneesh Reddy, and Navya Douala in Nuvvu Nenu Prema. In 2024, Swaminathan made his silver screen debut with the film “Kamarottu 2″ directed by Paramesh.” He shared the screen space with Raghavendra Rajkumar, Priyanka Upendra, Rajini Bharadwaj, and Nagendra Urs.
